About Rovaniemi Railway Station

One of the country's oldest stations - the Rovaniemi railway station-opened its doors in 1909. From the Rovaniemi station, you could board a direct daytime or night train and make your way to Oulu, Tampere, Helsinki, and Turku. The only overnight train service north Kemijärvi operates since 2014. Inside the station, you would find 11 tracks, three platforms, restaurants, ticket vending machines, restrooms, car-carrier loading docks as well as service assistance. However, pay attention that the station's waiting rooms are not open 24 hours daily.
